Road Trip!

The puppies went to Saint Louis to have the BAER tests and CERF exams today. In between appointments they played at Angie's house and had their pictures taken. Below is some pictures of Image attacking Ponder...

The puppies are mobile and eyes are open. They have started eating food and playing with toys. Here are a couple videos:

We Are Walking and Barking!

Well, the boys are walking. Louie was the first to walk, then Ponder. Rizel started walking this afternoon. The girls are still just crawling around, but they look like they will be walking anytime.

Barking is another new skill that the puppies recently acquired. Well, they sort of bark. Image is the only quiet one.

Puppy Names

The puppies all have names now. The theme was the Kentucky Derby. Well, sort of... most race horses have strange names that really don't work for puppies. Austin named the red merle boy Rizel (the only puppy not named after the Derby). The blue merle boy is Louie, short for Louisville. The red and white girl is Chant. The black and white girl is Image, short for Dancer's Image. The red and white boy is Ponder.

Vision ate dinner and is nursing the puppies. Everyone is settled in and doing well.

Finally...Puppies!

After a stressful day that ended in a c-section, Vision is home with her new family and resting comfortably. She is the proud mama of five new puppies. Unfortunately, two of Vision's seven puppies did not survive the c-section. It has been an emotional day...
